On Tuesday, Oct. 27, the Today Show outlined the consumer-unfriendly changes being made at major credit card companies. Bank of America, Chase and others are raising fees for consumers who pay off their balance every month or do not carry a large-enough balance on their card at all times. The show's recommendation was to use credit union cards instead: CU cards are designed as a service to the member rather than a means for profit.
